I'm new to the spinner making hobby and im a little confused as to witch what paints to use to paint my spinner blades. Anyone who can help would be appreciated. Thanks!

John, let's talk about what you have in mind for painting first. I started out painting blades but in the end found bulk painted blades for less price and less hassle. On occassion, I still take a prepainted blade and add paint as a design to the original blade. Almost any paint works. I like lacquer based paints so that I can then spray with a lacquer clear coat to polish it off.

Spinner blade painting

Thanks Super D. Only other question I have is, do I need to use a primer?

If you are painting over a chrome or brass blank I highly recommend a primer. But I want to stress that you should look at the pre-painted spinner blades first.

Edd,

I tried sending a PM...no go...do you still have those items for sale, I am interested if so.

Thanks
JBT
