The closest boat ramp is by the dam 71 miles from Boise and Fall Creek Marina is about 8 miles from the dam boat ramp. I launched my boat there couple times so I didn't remember very well, some part of the road is unpaved.
I launch my boat at Curlew most of the time which is 19 miles longer than the dam boat ramp ($5.00 fee daily use). There is another boat ramp at Deer Creek with no charge and not very far from Curlew, other boat ramp is by the Pine airport that is about 6 mile from Curlew. I fish close to Curlew and Lime creek and I choose this boat ramp. Other fishermen like to fish by the dam and Fall Creek then that was shorter distance for them.
