Does your gulp bait dissolve when trolling?? I use the gulp nuggets and they dissolve. They work but you gotta check the bait alot. I’ll do corn and a nugget to add some color and scent.

I use a single gulp maggot on the second hook and they don’t dissolve and are guite durable. Oh ya by the way they catch fish!

    Default Gulp maggots

I started using gulp alive maggots last year. They work great. They keep for a long time. They don't get soft in water but dont hold onto hook like a real maggots so you re bait much more.

Gulp nuggets are a dough bait and meant to dissolve. As the name is crappie nuggets they are essentially like trout power bait. IMO, the maggots are much longer lasting on the troll. I occasionally use them to hold my corn on longer.
