Good morning, I am from western Colorado. I am a native to this area and have been fishing Blue Mesa all my 50 years. I have only started targeting Kokanee fishing in the last few years. Now I could care less about the anything else. I found this board while trying to pick any tips possible. Kokanee fishing seems to have become an addiction, is their any help for this? I think I am starting to rival Cabelas in the amount of tackle I have acquired. Hurry up spring!

sakalmon If your wanting help to know where to spend that green this is the place that has a tip or 2. I've driven by Blue Mesa once 4yrs ago and was amazed at its size. I hope to make it there eventually to wet a line.

Welcome! Blue Mesa has been on my bucket list as well. There are a couple good contributors in the Colorado forum that fish Blue Mesa. I'm looking forward to your reports and hope we can answer any of your equipment / tackle related questions in general.
