Thank you. I heard a rumor... LoL
I will be by there in a few days and I will check again
I know the main Elk Creek is at the marker where you cant launch a boat
The low water ramp is available when the snow melts a little more

Thinking about heading up and wondering if anyone has snapped any new photos for launch conditions now that we're warming a bit.
Hoping there was a little melting this week? Might make a run either way, but hate to get there only to be turned back.
Thanks for any updates!
I just came from the elk creek ramp--The main paved ramp can't be used--The low water ramp can be used--There were 2 trucks with boat trailers parked in the ramp area--It will be difficult to launch to launch a larger boat because of the limited area to turn around and the lower ramp road is muddy--You will need a 4wd for sure
I’ve launched at a lot worse ramps. The ice is still hanging about a 1/2 mile from the power lines. Marked 3 fish deep and 1 at 30, in 4 hours.
I will be chinook fishing in the next few days--I hope they are a little bigger
I normally fish between 50 and 100 ft for the chinook--There are several big fish in that dept range--Lots of big Bull trout and some big trash fish as well--When I fish with bait I catch a variety of fish--You never know what it is when that down rigger trips
I checked out the launch at the end of the day, looks like the conditions got a bit worst from when you were down there rem40xb1. I walked down to the secondary ramp and once you leave the pavement its a muddy mess. From the top it don't look to bad, walking down on the road, its pretty rough with all the melt off. I'm not going to be launching just yet, my truck is a bit heavy for the mud. I don't like getting stuck lol.
I think I will wait also and I have a small boat with a 25 for bad ramps and deadwood
Heard someone recently tried to launch at Elk Cr and got stuck, anyone have any intel on what section they got stuck in. Sounds like it needs more time to dry out.
Well then, sounds like it should be gtg. I will try to give it a go next week, I only have a 14 footer. Thanks for the info.
Curlew any problem??
Hello,
My wife and I plan on going out on 3/30(weather permitting). Will curlew be accessible by then? we can launch our boat anywhere (sea eagle SR14) but taking it down the ramp would be the easiest!
Thank You!

I fished Anderson for the first time this past weekend both Saturday and Sunday. I Launched from the low water ramp at elk creek. Was out on the water from around 9-2 both days. The weather was great Saturday, as was the fishing. I ended up with a sunburn and 9 kokanee from 13-17". Lost a handful and relased a few chinook. Sunday's weather wasn't great with dark clouds, wind and some rain. A bit chilly, but not too bad. Kept 8 kokes, released 5ish sub 12'' kokes and another 5ish sub 12'' chinook. All in all, it was a good weekend.
Nice! Has anyone checked out the Curlew ramp recently?
Physion
