    Default Anderson ranch trout

Anyone have a recent trout fishing report for Anderson near the damn? A month ago I caught a large rainbow near the damn trolling at 150 feet. Saw a lot of fish deep. Thought about jigging. Thoughts and tips appreciated. I normally use one down rigger dragging flashers and a wedding ring tipped with corn, maggot or worms. The other pole I long line at about 25 feet deep.

Are you sure that, at that depth, it wasn't a chinook? What size was it? In regards to the trout, I seem to do better off the shore than trolling. Don't know why. You catch a lot of incidental trout at LP and Arrowrock, but fewer at Anderson. And yet, they plant a lot of trout. Mike

    Default Anderson rainbows

I am certain of my catch that it was a rainbow. Do you know if I can launch a boat by the damn or is the water too low?

    Larry,
No problem, not even close. To check on ramps, go to this site: https://www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/ram.../anderson.html

    Default Anderson ramp

There is a low water ramp at the dam--it is to the left of the regular ramp
