    Default Soldier creek Sat. 6-2-18

Fished sat morning, On the water ar 7.00am, fished between dam and opening of narrows. Fishing was slow, two of us caught limits but it took awhile. Fish were smaller than last week biggest Koke about 2 lbs. We marked lots of fish between 20 and 40 feet. Best color was pink squid and dodger. Took 5 hours to limit but it was beautiful day almost no wind.

5 hours for 2 limits of that size is great in my book.

    Hey Blackg,

We were up there as well yesterday but on the Strawberry side it was off the hook were we were. Four of us limited out in just under two hours with almost all kokes going between 2.5 to 3 lbs with a couple smaller ones. The spinner rigs were the ticket for us, they were out performing everything else that we tried. To be honest though we didn't go through much tackle didn't have time, almost every hook up was a double or triple rods at a time. I may have to be sick "cough cough" one day this week. We also were fishing a little deeper than typical for Strawberry but whatever works I'll go with it.v
