Hi Im new

Hi my name is Frank and I'm new to kokanee fishing. I live in Berkeley Ca. and I haven't caught any konakee before and would love any info that can help me start. I mainly do ocean fishing and started to do some lakes. My wife gets sea sick and I'm trying to get her into kokanee fishing. I have a Parker 21 pilot house for the ocean and 15 boston whaler and 17 arima sea chaser that i use in the lakes. Any info on how to target the species, what works, and what lakes are good to start would be great. I have a pop up tent on my truck and plan to camp and fish weekends. My boats have down rigger set up and i just started to buy some rods and reels for kokanee. Thanks in advance!!
