    Default Buckboard July 21,'16

Fished Buckboard July 21st. Water clarity was 17', water temp 67 in the AM. There were about 20 boats fishing. Fished Big Bend and Skunk Cliff area. Caught about a dozen fat 12" size Kokes from 10' to 65' down. No bigger fish were hooked. Talked with another angler at the ramp and he had the same results. The usual wind came up about 1 PM. At one point it was so strong I couldn't open the motor home's door.

We were there a month earlier and caught a lot of nice fat kokes in the 17" - 20" range, seemed everyone was limiting on fish that size. The wind there is brutal, my sinuses are just now getting back to normal. One day the wind was so strong it ripped a shade overhang off a guys trailer and blew it thru the CG, knocked over a few tents. RAY
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment
