Default Winter at the Gorge again!

Fished the gorge Saturday with my buddy George catching a few nice kokes and rainbows for dinner. Most productive set-up was Orange Double Trouble behind a Matrix dodger, running from 10 to 16 feet down. We fished through a couple light showers and got back in by 1:00. Woke up this morning to blowing snow and headed home before the roads got too ugly. Makes you appreciate the days you do get to go fish. Looks like next week should be better weather.

FF-nice catch, blowing snow-not so nice!

I was wondering what the weather was like this last weekend. I ran up there and pulled the boat out of the slip last Tuesday night so Greg could fix my live-well pump-it was leaking water into the hull and the bilge pump was kicking it out again. I got paranoid and ran up there. After seeing the forecast, I'm glad I did or I would have been worried all weekend.
