    Default Buckboard 3/29

The wind was pretty consistent for most of the day and there was nary a kokanee to be found. But we did manage to find a few chunky rainbows and a plenty of lake trout both north and south out of the marina. Most fished seemed to be right on the bank or over the river channel.

All in all, it was a miserable weekend except for about 20 minutes of consistent action.

The boys in the marina welded the broken riser on the trailer back together in about 15 minutes. They were great guys and I paid them twice what they asked because they didn't ask enough!

It was great to have you out and fishing is always better than being home on the couch, even if this time was close. :)
