The gorge..07-26 to 08-02-13

We had a chance to fish the gorge last week. we slipped the boat at buckboard and camped on the beach to the south. any silver dodger with green, pink hooker, orange or blue squid performed well. 10 to 20 boats at the breeze every morning...here are a few pics...the kokes are turning red...we caught several... can't wait to head back

Your second link didn't work but great fish and thanks for the report! I haven't been out since the Buckboard derby. Hoping I get a red one over 4 lbs for the wall.

Wat to go gulfstream. Made a day trip there yesterday 8-7 and noticed with alot of others it was slow. Areas I fished was Breeze, Wildhorse, Pipeline, & Rawlins. I managed a couple of small ones and lost about half a doz reeling in. Seemed the good fighters I didn't get to see. One more at the end of the month for 2days.
