Strawberry

We fished Strawberry on the 4th of July and couldn't get anything but rainbows and cutt's. We launched from the Aspen Grove boat ramp and trolled all over cutt's were in 50' - 55' of water and rainbows were hitting everything in 30' or less. We went back on Sunday and launched from the same boat ramp and could not catch a trout. The good news is we didn't get skunked all we could catch were kokanee. My wife caught the first three fish at 40' trolling an orange serpent spoon. I caught one on a orange and white kripulure at 45' and the other three were caught on a mini squid in dark pink with a little splatter blade in 50' - 55' of water. We caught a few that were even to small for me to keep and lost another dozen or so brining them in to the boat. Our two biggest fish measured 17 1/2" and 17".
