Sorry. I meant the 24th of August. Any day except the 3rd of August.
I'd vote for the 10th.
So far the 10th looks open for me

August 17th works for me my anniversary is on the weekend of the 10th and I'll be out of town otherwise I would vote for that date
Glad to see that people still are thinking about getting together. My year this year has been super busy doing all kinds of things that have kept me from fishing for Kokanee. I'm not sure what I'll be doing in August, but the 10th or 17th sounds good. If we set a date soon, I'll have a better chance of not making plans for that weekend. I would like to see everyone again, and swap some stories
When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras...
Well I haven't been on the forums to too long or fishing to kokes for that matter. I would love to hook up with some locals and share/learn some new things. Keep the posts comming I am somewhat open given i can bring the kiddos.
I.ll go with the 10th. Tell me what you need.

If I can I'll come.
The 10th for me. Thanks
As stated, I'll be there.
I'll bring some smoked kokanee dip and chips. Now to figure out how to catch those tasty silver rockets.
How about a FINAL head count?? Are we only looking at 2 or 3 boats?
Unless there are a lot of other people planning going that haven't posted, I have a suggestion, move it to Merwin, its a little closer for most and the fish are 4 times the size. And also there is a pretty good chance of tying into one of those huge trout. If turns out that a bunch of people are planning on making it we should probably leave the plan the same, I was just thinking 2-4 boats is a pretty small group, why not go after better fish and if we still wanted to meet up for lunch we don't need a lot of room. Yale has more room for larger groups of people but I would think we could find some restate to accommodate a small group on Merwin.
Are we on or not for the picnic?

Since only 2 people have signed up , I think I'll fish Merwin.

Kokonut:
Glad to see you have made it back. Hope the knee operation is a total success. I am a big maybe at Merwin for Saturday. I was up there yesterday in the morning, but it was extremely slow. Had 8 on and only got 5 in the net with no big rainbows. I will have to see if there is anything on the calender. It might work out.

We can keep it at Yale if that's what every one wants to do it is just a suggestion, my preference is Merwin for obvious reasons but I don't mind fishing Yale, either way we can still do a picnic afterwords, it looks like it will be a pretty small group. We just need to make a firm plan and run with it, I will follow the crowd
Gents, I was hoping to make it, but I'm sorry to say I won't be able to make it this year.

I'll be there on the 8th, 9th, and 10th. If I don't have cell phone reception, I guess I won't know where to be on Sat. the 10th. My wife is making Brownies.
Richard, I'll try to reach you on the phone. This year I'm using a pickup camper.
Weird my post last night didn't make it.....I don't care either way which lake we are on........Richard(Kokonuts) its your call you call it. That way we can at least have the few that are going to be here all together.

I'm headed to Yale. Fished Green Peter and Merwin this week. Time for some new water. I'll be in my blue Willie sled. See you Saturday.
