    Default crappie anywhere?

I'd really like to get into a mess of crappie. We eat fish two or three times a week and my crappie supply is zero. Are they hitting consistently on CJ or Brownlee or is it still spotty? If the fishing is good, would you be willing to send me a note with some specifics?

If the crappie fishing is only so-so, I'd just as soon troll for kokanee.

From what I have heard, Brownlee is just starting to get going on the crappie. Not the large numbers of the past, but the ones they are catching are in the 13-14" size. Hopefully the numbers will pick up in the next couple of weeks.

If you're eating fish 2-3 times per week you might want to check this out. I just found it yesterday....who would've known?

We're headed up to camp at Heyburn SP with the boat this weekend. Plan to hit Chatcolet, Round, CDA and maybe chain lakes for pike, bass, crappie and maybe even kokes....just have to see what the weekend brings. I'll let you know how it goes.

We eat more kokanee than crappie. I haven't seen any warnings about the kokanee. I'm aware of the concerns about crappie. The smaller ones will have less toxins than the larger ones.
