    Default Nantahala 2012 #2

Went to Nantahala last weekend With my son-in law Carter. Met rgarbar at the landing for a head drop and some info on recent fishing. The fishing started out slow but picked up at midday. We finished with 13 kokes and a walleye. Carter caught his first walleye ,first koke ,and first limit of kokes.

Thanks guys, I'm trying to convince Carter it ain't always this good. Our kokes ran 15"to almost 18'. We've been practicing our fish size enhancement in pix.( Just can't let flyfishermen have all the fun of making a 2 pounder look twice as big).Seadog I just wish I lived as close to koke water as you.

    Hi TT,

Yeah! East Twin may have a few, but why make the trek there?
I already know all the places where to find them at WH (4 miles from the house).
I'm satisfied with the size there!

Hope to get out west -> where they measure Kokanee in pounds vs inches here in Ct.

I got a 19.5" and a 20.5" out of a CT lake this June, they are here, just have to work for them. Might see another new state record fish come out of there before the end of summer.
