    Default Size of Kokes

    Hi everyone,
Just found this forum, Just started fishing for Kokanee, Just started fishing at Navajo.
I was wondering what size the Kokanee grow to in Navajo?
I have been twice and only small fish 10"-13" caught.
I am thinking that I may be targeting schools of younger fish and need to change area or tactics. Or that's all the size they get in Navajo?
    Thanks

I have heard they dont get very big in Navajo. we were fishing last saturday and found that if we trolled deeper it would produce larger fish. we are thinking of heading this weekend 17ft tracker Magna DC we have a honda 2hp kicker come say hi if your see us
    Hope this answers your question

Ive fished for Kokes in Navajo since the early 70s . the fish were large in the
90s . I think it was in 93 some weighed around 4 lbs and 18 - 19 inches . in 2002 I needed to take care of my mother and didnt get back to fishing Navajo again till last summer. 13" was average .
Im not sure what changed . The drought years around 2002 had the lake very low. The lake level was below the pavement at the launch ramp . Maybe that had an effect. Id love to see those days come back . I was using my downriggers , old flyrods with mono and flyreels , and just wedding rings , no attractors . What a blast .
