7/12-15
Just got back from dark skies at the Gorge. Caught lots of kokanee but most were on the smaller end of the spectrum. Fished anywhere between 20-60', it didn't seem to matter much on the depth. The predominant color selection was pink! Tried orange with fewer bites. Tried green and I was wasting time. Friday before all the weather moved in was the best day by far. We put three respectable kokes in the freezer that day. Saturday was a slow dark day. We didn't see many others on the water grabbing nets either. I gonna blame it on the weather GODS that shut the fishery down.
Hope to hear from others out there to see how their weekend was. Be fair & honest!
