Strawberry Trip

After catching some guppies at Porcupine a few weeks ago, I decided to give Strawberry a try this week.
My son Korey and I launched from the SC Marina and headed West.
We found a lot of active Cutthroat and a few Rainbow before finally dialing in on the Kokanee.

It was nice to catch some Kokes that had some size to them.
Nothing like the reports form the Gorge but they averaged 17" to 18" and were fat.

We used our homemade spinners and dodgers, which was very rewarding.

I will finally get up to the Gorge in a few weeks but for now, I have some fish for the smoker.
