Default American Lake June 24th 2012

I fished American Lake today (6/24/12) from 6AM to 11AM, caught no fish but did not get rained on and water was pretty flat. There were about a dozen other boats trolling slow, presumably koke fishers although they could have been after trout. I even tried the double Dick Nite spoon setup, but no luck for me. I did learn a little more about my electronics (I think); most fish i marked were around 50-70 feet down. Lots of goop on lures; i guess that is the algae others are talking about.
