Wow, less than a month to go.

Food- With the majority of the votes going for catering, I've lined up our lunch. We'll have party subs, chips, salads, and dessert ready and all you'll need to bring is your favorite beverage. Please bring $5 a person to cover the cost of the food.

Tackle sponsors - Kokanee Creek Tackle, Fish with Gary, KokaneeKid Fishing, R&K, Victoria's Tackle Secrets and Gamakatsu USA

FYI June 9 and 10 is WDFW FREE FISHING weekend.

No license required so we can bring along the kids or friends who don't have a Washington tag and fish for free.

    Peace, Tom

    Weather Forecast:

5 am - Most likely rain with low temp in the upper 40's
    8:00 - 20% chance of rain

    Barometer - rising
Moon - Waning with cloud cover

Sounds like great conditions for a morning bite!

    Default KFF bbq,brrrrr

Well the weather man had the forecast right. The only thing hot was the bite. The kokes were aggressive to say the least. Fished across from Yale Park. Didn't matter what I put in the water they ate it. Tried depths from25-40' and caught fish at all depths. Nice to meet a bunch of you guys and gals. Thanks to Kokanee Creek Tackle,Kokaneekid Fishing and Fish with Gary for all the goodies they donated to the event. And a big thank you to Mack for organizing the event and getting to the park early to get us a spot out of the rain.

Thanks to everyone who was able to come to our 4th KFF picnic. It was a great day despite the October like weather. Who would have guessed today would be 70 and sun compared to the 54 and rain we got yesterday.

While the kokes were small, it was encouraging to hear that everyone had a good time and got consistent fish strikes.

I'd like to send another thank you to Kokanee Creek Tackle, Fish with Gary, Kokaneekid Fishing, and Victoria's Tackle Secrets.

    It was great seeing everyone.

Once again it was a great event in cold weather this year. It was nice to see everyone again, and meet the guys I haven't met before and put avatars to faces. Can't wait to next year, until then lets keep the great Kokanee Fishing Forum going.

Thank you for the gear provided by Kokanee Creek Tackle, Fish with Gary, Kokaneekid Fishing, and Victoria's Tackle Secrets. I can’t wait to get out and try it.

I did get the secret and elusive Shawn’s Kokanee Killer and can’t wait to try too.

Thank You Mac for puting this together for the 4th year? I had a great time , caught some fish and only had 1 problem.
on Sat. afternoon, the wind came up and it got a little rough. Not a problem because I like it rough. The problem arose when the Sherrifs Dept boat came by at 1/3 throttle and almost swamped me. Wave came cross cut from wind waves. None came in. I was just happy that I was not standind up reeling in a fish. Caught enough minnows for a meal. Thanks Again. I also forgot to thank our sponsors. They were generous as usual.
