    Default Sunday 5/20

Lucky Peak Water Temp on Sunday 5/20 57F. Hooked one that went straight up like a rocket out of the water twice and threw the hook. Pink Hoochie and worm.

Hey tuff maybe you should go with the boys instead of the girls next time. I know of a guy who is wanting to go maybe you should give him a call.

Does anyone know if they have a dock in at the boat ramp? Last time I was there it was just a ramp. Any recent news at Arrowrock? thanks.

No dock just the ramp. And we like it that way.

Fished Arrowrock saturday with my son and his two friends. Got on the water about 9 and quit about 2:30. We had to work hard for them but we ended up with 15 kokes. The boys farmed a few also. It was a good day of fishing.

    Default Nice day at Arrowrock!!

Finally got some kokanee fishing in today after fishing for chinook the last 3 weeks. Made the decision to go to Arrowrock with my good fishing buddy. I haven't fished it since I went in March. I got my boat in the water at 6:15 a.m. and was done fishing at 1:00. I shot straight across from the launch. Marked fish between 25-30 feet. I stacked both downriggers 10 feet apart on both sides. 25' feet and 15' on left side and 28' and 18' on the other. Ran my usual sling blades and homemade hoochie spinners. Pink was the winning color today. We boated a kok within 10 minutes a 17'' keeper. Fishing was a little slow, averaging a fish every 30 minutes. Had multiple double ups and ended the day with a triple up and landed 2 out of the 3. Had 12 fish in the cooler 10 of them at 16-17'' and 2 were just over 18''. Tight lines and good luck everyone!

I thought about fishing there but all the fun boats and jet ski's parked on the beach scared me off.

Went up the reservoir a little more and had similiar results.

When the wind kicked up we were invaded by the folks that were running around by the boat ramp all morning looking to get out of the chop. Good Job. Nice Fish.

Thanks Allyn! It was really nice to see just fellow kokanee anglers on the water today. I'll be headed there again next Wednesday and hopefully have the same results

Same report here as well with two limits of Kokanee in the boat by 2 PM. Averaged 2 fish per hour with multiple fish over 17 inches in length. Great day!

Nice. Those fish look like they could eat most of the fish I've been cathcing at Anderson. Looks like I'm staying closer to home this weekend.

    Smile After Work on Friday

    06/29/12
I am posting my first post and I'm happy to have something to report.
My wife and I went up to Arrowrock today about 4:00p.m. and fished till 8:00 p.m.
We ended up with 7 nice fatties. The largest one was 17 1/2".
Used Kokanee Killers and Wiggle Hoochies at 35ft deep.
It was beautiful on the water this evening.
I am so thankful that my wife is my best fishing buddy.
    Thanks for this forum!

Well im not sure where everyone is catching these pigs...Bigggcountry and I went yesterday as well and covered quite a few good areas from 530 to dark and all we managed were 2 decent ones...seemed like we were getting hit and missed alot though...like the bite was off and they were just tapping...not the usual slam...oh..til next time

Just got back from driving up that wonderful dirt road. Started fishing about 0630 and finished a three person limit at about 1400. Couple doubles but for the most part just steady scattered hits. Most fish caught at about 25' down. Pink slings with pink hoocies for the most part but also caught some on silver and orange hoochies.

Surface temp was 67 in the morning and up to 70 when I left.

Caught 2 18" inchers and 7 that were 17-16", rest were 13-16". The squawfish horde was out in force on the upper end in both the South and Middle fork arms. Was catching 4 squaws per koke for most the morning. God awful nasty things. The eagles even got sick of them before long. Have fun.

Fished also on Saturday from 9am to about 1pm. We ended up with 9 but had to really work for them. We also had some very short bites. Our biggest koke did not even register a hit. I was just checking the rod for a tangle and he was on there. Only two of the fish were under 15 inches. We caught fish from 40ft to the surface. And we only caught two squaw fish and no rainbows. I have only boated one rainbow out of 6 trips this year. I caught quite a few last year. Makes me wonder if they got caught in the gill nets with the squaws this fall

Default 4 less in the 'rock'

Had a good half day at arrowrock yesterday 7/1 caught these and missed another 4 or 5 bites... Straight out from the ramp with everyone else! Depth was 30 - 35 ft with cowbells and pink hoochies or wedding rings. How about it BOWMADNESS!

Had a nice haul on 7/3 straight out from the boat launch. Started around 830 AM and finished up with 10 fish by 1 PM. Not too shabby!

Went to arrowrock on the 4th, got there a little late, around 930 caught 2 pretty quick then a couple of squaws. Didn't get to stay late had to leave at 1 but it sure was fun. Hot pink hoochie seems to be the choice right now caught one at 15 and the other at 25. Monday I'm heading to Pine/Featherville for a little camping, any word on how the Kokanee are hiting up there at Anderson?

    Fished about 30 ft deep.
