    Default 1-7-12 Merwin limit!

It was a sweet day at the lake. One rig in the parking lot and no wind on the water.
Started with a uv slingblade and a pink hoochie with corn flatlined at 100ft. My other rig was a old school ford fender with a green wedding ring at 75ft.
Marked some schools and found some willing biters. Very fiesty tailwalking, jumping fish. Water temp was 43.7 degrees. Very slow presentation worked best. Hooked up a double and had a good time with that.

Great way to start my year with a limit.

    Peace, Tom

Nice fish. Wish I could get away for some fishing. The wind won't cooperate.

The two on top were 12 1/2" and the middle two were 13 1/2".
the last one was 10". I would have released that one, but the regs say first 5 fish.
I did not weigh them but they all put up a great fight.

Nice Job. Looks like you took advantage of this Mild winter. Hoping to get out after some kokes as soon as the chukar season ends.

Nice fish, esp. for this time of year! Even that ten incher is an O.K. fish for most lakes, great eating with that water so cold! Bob R
