Default my 2011 Utah L.E bull Elk

My qwest to draw a coveted Utah L.E Elk tag finally came true in 2011. I had waited 15 years to finally draw a tag like this.

With much stress and anticipation, the day finally came to leave for my hunt. I arrived four days early to get to know the area, plan some things out and get ready for opening morning.

The 28th arrived to beautiful blue skies, and much potentual.

Many Bulls were seen, scrutinized and finally on Saturday morning, I was provided with the oppertunity to take this magnificant creature.

A kneeling shot from 80 yards through the lungs dropped him 75 yards later. WOW.

Was fortunate enough to get him all loaded on the Rhino with a little help and bring him out. What a trip.

the Utah F&G came into camp, checked out licenses and talked with us. The CO offerred to Score my bull and one other we had.

My bull scored in at 361 B&C.

    I couldnt be any happier

    Thumbs up

Congrats. I'm assuming it was well worth the 15 year wait?

Hopefully doesn't take another 15 years to do it again! Did you say you were providing Elk for the next KFF event? LOL!
