Melanie and I went to Summit, it being only 20 minutes away from home, I had read a good report from late June for kokes so I thought we would try it out. Unfortunatly the trout are generally covered with open sores from copopods (ceflopods?, I don't know which one burrows into the trout but after the 4th of July the trout in this lake are really gross looking, state says it's O.K to eat themj but we won't)!We caught and released 3 trout that were covered in sores, kept two for the dog that only had a couple of sores. The kokefishing was O.K. 'till 10:00 or so, then dropped off.Kokes were caught on gold triple teasers following a sepps silver hammered dodger.3 were caught 1 10 inches and a 11 and a 121/2 incher as well, fish were fat and tasty! I will go back on Thursday with my friend John if weather isn't too bad. Bob R.
