    Anyone tested the ice up their yet?

    I fished there this weekend. There is 6-7" of ice. I fished near the campground. No one else on the ice. I didn't catch anything.

    Have your heard any rumors about Walleye being in Ririe Res.

    they are in there, I talked to a fish and game officer last winter on the ice and he said he took part in a gill net survey and they netted some nice walleye. He doesn't think they will venture very close to the dam for some reason, so we won't be able to pull any out of the ice (you can only ice fish within 1 mile of the dam). I did see one fairly close to the dam while snokeling this summer however. They still don't know how the walleye will affect the Kokanee in Ririe.

    I watched some vidioes on how to catch Walleye yeaterday. It does not seem like a big change other than the lures and spoons etc. So I am going to give it a try. Something new to try close to home. What the heck.
