    Now here's a new "maintenance issue" I hadn't thought of....

    Have any of you ever had something like this happen?
    Age 65.
    20 ft. Jetcraft. 90hp Evinrude Etec, 8hp Yamaha kicker, Minn Kota electric troller. Electric 1106 Scotty downriggers, Lowrance HDS7 Fish Finder/GPS. Airmar P66.
    Also have a 15 ft. Gregor. 25hp Yamaha electric 2-stroke. Two electric 1106 Scotty downriggers. Lowrance HDS7 Fish Finder/GPS.

    An allstar reason for always having a bucket or boat scoop on board in addition to a bilge pump. Also, fortunately for me, zodiacs, catarafts and boston whaler's are more immune to this problem than many other boats.

    This is extremely common in outboard pee holes. When the water stream isn't flowing it is generally either the impeller or the hole blocked from a mud dobber. Some people stick a golf tee in the hole when the boat is in storage or run a piece of weed eater line through the discharge line.
