Had a great day on the lake! Went home with 22 in the cooler and I lost probably that many on missed strikes or at the boat. Rigged up with Ford Fenders and smiley bladed wedding rings, corn and shrimp oil. Past month on the lake has been great to say the least!

Try using a sling blade or dodger and you will not loose as many fish. They have very soft mouths and when they are dragging that big ford finder around they rip out. I always used one to but found that the dodger or sling blade slides through the water much better when they run with it.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have 2 or 3 dodgers in my tackle box, but have never used them. The sling blades are relatively new to me, so I'll have to buy a couple and give them a try.

ya, i caught quite a few kokes sat on the sling blade, but dont really like the action of it, so going with a custom dodger that lip ripper told me about
