Fished with my brother and our collective 5 kids yesterday. We caught fish at will, releasing all that weren't damaged goods. Most fish were 12 to 13 fish, but there were a few 14"ers that made it into the box. Some of the larger fish were starting to color up a bit, so I'd say get after them fast, the meat will start to get mushy soon.

40 feet on the wire was the magic depth, but some were shallower, some deeper. Little RMT squids in pinkish and orangeish color schemes were best, and my home-brewed corn out fished Gulp maggots.

Thanks for that update Mojo, I am planning to head down there this week so I really appreciate that. I am getting a late start, so I need to get a couple of trips in real quick and get the freezer loaded up for the winter!

Thanks for the report! With Ririe only 20 minutes out the door it's hard to travel for Kokes but I'm always curious about the bite???
