Kokes at the Gorge
Reelfast and I and our wives went up to the Gorge on the 4th and fished Friday evening at Sheep creek. Water temp was around 67* and we caught a few small macks and one bow but no kokes. Saturday we went up to Anvil and fished the morning bite and found some nice sized kokes, bows and more small macks. Same story on the evening bite but we found some kokes up to 19 inches, we came back the next morning before we left to head back and got our limits for the smoker. The clouds keep the temps down and the catching keep it interesting, although it would have been nice to catch some bigger macks. I wish the water skiers were as good around here and they are up there, even the jet skiers keep their distance. Great weekend, with great company, thanks Dan and Christie. WH2
