West Hill Pond has long been on my Kokanee hit list so I packed my Kokanee rods onto an airplane and left the West Coast for some East Coast Kokanee fishing. We rented an AirBnB right on the lake and shuttled a couple kayaks from a friend's house nearby. It didn't take long to locate the Kokanee and we had a great evening and morning of fishing the next day. Massive schools of Kokanee were on the north end of the lake with bigger fish in the 13" range and we encountered a variety of age class fish. A great trip and a beautiful and quiet lake to Kokanee fish with its horsepower restrictions.
