The docks near Pine are still there, as of last week, but the water is about 25 ft below them. The concrete still has water tho.

The wife and I decided to take a bike ride up to Featherville yesterday to check things out now that they have opened up the road to us outsiders, and was just amazed at just how far down the water...
I have a 17' bass style boat, but don't actually fish just for bass.:-) It has a 55hp Johnson on it. The trolling plate I use works fine to slow me down to about 1mph if I want to go that slow. But...
Yep the fishing and camping was good, but the catching sucked :-(
Tried out the Walker deeper divers, not a hit. Had them out to 150, which was supposed to get us down to about 27-30 ft. Never used...
Just getting the trailer and boat hooked up this morning heading for Anderson Ranch for three days of camping/fishing. Sure wish the posts were more positive :) Will be using one DR and two Walker...
If you live in the Mtn. Home, area, T&V Marine does quality work.
Sounds much like the troll-a-matic plate. I did a extensive search and couldn't come up with a Pro Troll plate. Just lots of lures :-) Maybe you have a link to their web site that I could use ?
I've been looking for another trolling plate that isn't manually operated. I've looked at the Troll-a -matic, and then found this one by Johnson. ...

I have the "Back Off" mud flaps on my motorcycle trike, and they are cool thumbsup
Thanks for the info and insight ! I guess it would be wisest for me to really consider which part of the Snake I'd find the least trouble with :-) Around Mtn. Home, I've been told one of the best to...
I sent my sentiments, and hopefully someone at F&G that gives a s**t will read it :-)
Good web site Mike, thanks !. I registered there and asked the same question. Hopefully I'll get lots of feed back info :-) From what I've found out so far about the fishing, it should be worth...
I was going through a folder that I've made up over the years, and found an article about the fishing in the salmon Falls Reservoir south of Twin falls. It was printed out in 2009. It says that...
I've checked out the Trac and Powerwinches, and the Powerwinches seem to have better reviews. Take a look at the Trac reviews on the link you posted, and you will see what I mean 101thumbsdown101

Ok, I'm old, and getting tired of hauling in 50' of anchor rope and anchor. My wife won't do it anymore,101thumbsdown101,, so I'm wanting to get some ideas about electric powered anchor winches. My...
BUNGEE,,,, OK,,,,,,,I think it's worth a try thumbsup
It's a 50hp Johnson 1998 model. It drives my bass style boat, but I use it to troll with using a trolling plate. I'll take a look at the motor to see if there is a friction control screw.
That was a post by Bob r with his canoe.
I've never ran across what I'm looking for, so I'm open for ideas. Most of the boats I've owned had the same problem. After getting a hook up, and having to take care of it while the boat continues...
Nice ! I live near Boise Idaho, but I lived in Washington during my younger years, and didn't even know that Merwin had Kokanee in the waters ! I wonder when they were introduced? We have lots of...
Makes my mouth water Ken thumbsup. I suppose you have the wife busy smoking some of those critters ? :-)
It has a prop, but it does have power trim so the motor could be adjusted somewhat to the depth conditions.
This is a Grumman aluminum bass boat, like a Tracker. 50hp. Will run in shallow water, where my fiberglass Beachcraft deep V won't. I just want to broaden my fishing opportunities :-)
I'm a transplant from Nevada, (2006) and have fished CJ Strike and Anderson Ranch mostly via boat. I kept thinking about what it would be like to fish the Snake above Bruneau and below CJ. My...
