They look more like Goldfish. ;)
Fished from 10am to 3pm on Friday, nothing.
yes you will
....."get to have a Derby".....
If you want to have a derby, get together with a few people from this board and just have everyone put in 5 bucks. That's GRASSROOTS baby!
All I'm gonna say is I'm spending Fathers Day canning large kokes and reattaching trailer bunks that have been boinced loose by some sh*t*y dirt road somewhere. whistlersmother
Arrowrock. Definitely.
No dock just the ramp. And we like it that way.
There are still fish being caught up in the 'rock.
Well to be honest I completely forgot the bananas
We did pretty good.
I'm heading to Arrowrock in about 30 minutes- and I stopped by Fred Meyer last night to get some bananas. Yes the bananas are joining us. Will let y'all know how we do.
"They swear that salmonids hate the smell of bananas."
Hhahahahaha
I watched a fellow land an 18 lb. Chinook salmon from the bank at LP back in the 90's. I know there are a few browns still lurking around in there and most definitely big bull trout.
Lewiston for springers
We trolled from the corner all the way to Arrowrock dam yesterday without one fish. Did catch two across from the ramp
Fished Saturday for 4 hours and yesterday for 3, all down by the dam. Marked plenty of fish, caught zero
Fished yesterday from 1 til 4. Hooked 3, 2 little ones and a big one.
$$ REWARD! Lost: One 10 lb Orange downrigger ball. Last seen in the vicinity of Arrowrock Dam area; rock outcropping on the road side. Large flashers attached.
Did OK. Pulled out half a dozen down by the dam, green apex w/ shoepeg corn at 20'. Slow.
Headin' up again today with a new Lamiglas Classic Glass Downrigger rod and a renewed set of expectations.
Wow 4 posts in 4 years!
Yep they dumped 90,000 little dinks in on Wednesday. Which is when we fished the entrance to the SF channel for 4 hours w/out a bite.
I have had the same experience at Anderson, they seem to hit the best near the bottom or even below where they are marking on the FF.
So if a feller were to up there and go after some of those kokes, what ramp would you suggest he load in at?
