I had some success using the small "salad" shrimp from the deli at the grocery store. Its pretty hard to keep it on the hook though. Gonna try salting some and see if it toughens up.

No, on kokes, mainly because I gave up on it. On lakers, I'm dodging an anchor line as well, You learn to manage :)
I had one 2 boats ago. It seemed to make a difference for me in lake trout fishing.
I usually jig for kokes, I would start out by not having the box on, and not see many fish on the finder. Turning...
we need to make serious effort to fish the crap out of Ashley, remove a ton of them little salmon so the rest can grow. There are a few 2-3 pounders in there, but not very many.
I built my smoker from an old steel lined refrigerator.
Single stove top element in the bottom and a thermostat from an oven for temp control. Works awesome
Just took 40 of them outta smoker, Dang tasty indeed!!!!!!!!!
1: its fun
2: they are "starting" as you said, the meat is still firm and pink
3: I aint sittin' on my fat ass watching TV if I'm catching fish
4: its fun
5: The bright red is beautiful to look...
yeah you likely have real salmon too. These are pretty small

Who's goin'?
slow troll, wedding rings w/corn or maggots east side,
8-12 inches
The Kokanee bite is on! Go get 'emthumbsup
I messed with scents all this winter, cant say as it made any difference.
Keeping your hands clean is the major thing I think.
Plain old maggots and white corn seem to get -r- done for me
Bob from Mo's told me the rainbows where kind slow, but that was 2 weeks ago, may have changed. No info on the kokes
Mo Fisch has been running a boat up there for a while. They obviously found someplace to launch
I had fun, but didnt get on the board today, either too small or too big!
Maybe tomorrow
We did have a blast with the crowd we ended up in though, Made the whole day
