Amboy Firefighters Association is having a Kokanee Derby at Lake Merwin.

Time... 7 am, must be back to ramp by 1430 to measure fish.

Place... Speelyai boat...

My best pal Ramaja fished Merwin while I was at home with the boys, to his credit he invited me but, I had to decline. One guy limit by 1330, a few trout mixed in or so I was told. Stuart Angling...

Used Stuart Angling Frenzy Dodgers rigged as a salmon wobbler and caught Fall chinook. Two caught during the day, Orange Tiger Prism and Ladybug each took one.

Thanks for the kind words on the Dodgers. They do have a pretty good wiggle. Ramaja and I hung some big nasty trebles on them and they caught Columbia River Fall Chinook fished as a wobbler. Yeah...

yes, mike you are correct. i am wanting something good in bad weather and stable for me and the kids.

i like the dory because i am not concerned abut going fast, just being usefull.

I need a boat...I am thinking seriously about a Pacific Power Dory...

Lakes, rivers, ocean it seems they can do it all..
