Has anybody been to Arrowrock lately.
Just wanted to know how the road was.
I have not been up there this year.
Is it the typical washboard or is it worse than normal?
Thanks

Heading back to Wallowa for a few days.
Would like to drop some gear lower to target Macks while fishing for kokanee.
Any info for Macks or Kokanee fishing right now would be great.
Fished Wallowa on 6/3.
Caught fish from top water down to 50 feet. Caught a couple on dodgers and pink hoochies, but most on pop gear with wedding rings. Tried tuna soaked corn, maggots, and plain...
How did you do on your trip?
Any recent reports?
I'm heading over to try for kokanee and macks weekend after memorial day.
I like that picture of that Wallowa Lake Kokanee
Thanks for the update pimpler.
From the odfw link...
"The storage and release of water from the Reservoir has been altered to help protect listed spotted frogs..."
Maybe I'm weird..... However, as soon as I saw the term "listed...
Could be a good year at Wallowa.
Does anyone have recent info on Wallowa?
Other than what's on ODFW website...
Nitz's, the store in Pine, told me this morning that I would still need snow shoes to get to the ramps.
So it sounds the chirp technology is beneficial. I just need to decide about the side view.
If I get something new with the chirp technology and side view, it looks like I can find something in the...
So, I've been using the same $50 fish finder on my boat for 10 years. Mainly for a depth finder, since the only time I'm catching kokanee are when I'm not seeing them on the finder. 90% of the...
Fished the last hour of daylight last night. Landed two 15 inchers longlining on top with pop gear, white corn, krill oil, no weight. Got another 18 inch 20 ft down, pink hoochie behind dodger with...
That is one big beautiful trout!
Always knew about the big trout, chinook and kokes...
I've been wanting to get up there for years but never had the time.
So I think Ill be heading up sometime...
Let's just go fishing and post positive info.
Got a late start Saturday 6/4 and fished for about an hour around noon before I was forced to start boating. Boated one Koke at 20 feet another lost at 30. Pink hoochis behind dodgers, tipped with...
Starting to sound better. Thanks for the reports.
Fished Curlew and Lime creek area Sunday 4/10. Water was full of debris from rising water and discolored with sedement. Had one koke on but not another bite over 6 hours of trolling. Water may be...
By the way, if anyone did find my electric down rigger stuck in the mud when the water was down, let me know? It was just past Macks Creek around the corner toward AR.
Let me know if still having issue with that site. I posted there regarding my CJ trip this last Sunday, in the CJ reports thread.
I need a little help.
I was up there about a month and a half ago trolling with my kid when we noticed some friends of ours over on a beach.
So we started bringing in our gear to go over and say...
Yes you can cross the damn and launch right there. It's definitely a shorter drive by auto to launch at the damn.
If you want a dock and a wider ramp, curlew near Pine is the way to go. More parking...
Anybody have anything to report on Wallowa?
it sounds like you need to donate the extra 4 electrics to to the spoons kokanee experience. It's not tax deductible, but I'll give you credit for every fish I catch using them. Win, win, right? I...
Sounds good!
