congrats on a successful trip, nice when a plan works. We'll be back in mid-August while everyone else up here are chasing pink salmon. Looking forward to it!
It was my old site, WashingtonLakes.com. Like most bullies, when confronted by a detective he lied and then never showed up at the restraining court date to defend himself in front of a judge and my...
I don't think anyone here was thinking your comment was a hate message. I didn't take it that way, and sorry if my reply was taken in that light. Trust me, the hate messages I got there was little...
thanks Alan, much appreciated. I've been very fortunate and have met so many good guys from running my web site. Truly blessed.
sorry, but honestly, do you think the lake is going to suddenly see two dozen anglers on it? It's a bit of a long drive, or pay for a ferry (not cheap with a boat). It's one rod and five fish limit....
That was an interesting video and I am going to try the technique on sockeye. The lake you did the video on would be closed for sockeye retention, correct?
thanks, the lake is a little used resource, hope some guys get to experience it.

Our 3rd Lake Chelan Spring Get Together is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd. This year we have even more Sponsors giving away a ton of valuable gear, PLUS we've lined up several guides who will be...
It's so interesting that the kokanee on Merwin are at the top of the water column this time of year and the koks on Lake Chelan are down 60-240 feet.
No one posted a 2015 thread for Chelan yet? The fishing has been really good!
Here's a report I posted this last week fishing with a local guide. We also made a video, up on YouTube:

Just saw this post, that's funny. Strategically placed elbow, LOL.
Our last overnight boat camping trip of the year, and JoAnn wanted to go back to Lake Merwin. I can’t blame her. It’s pretty lake and as summer ends and school starts back up the crowds thin out a...
So eight lines trailing? Yikes!
Thanks for posting that technique. I think the sliding shower curtain clips is more exact and flexible. Does show there's more than one way to get the job done.
