Welcome aboard. Nice work with the restoration.
Sounds like a great spot. Let's get some reports going and I'll get it on the list.
Fished 6:30-9:45am today. Overcast with a firm westerly wind and drizzle. Landed 7, 11-12" fish at scattered depths. One rod fishing 18-24' and another running 35-45. Kokanee Creek dodgers tailed by...
Double vote for the sea anchor.
If you're looking for a plate option and want to minimize snag possibilities, I use a "Lil Fella" on my boat and it's worked great for years. Sometimes up,...
It's hard to believe, but Sunday morning I took the boat out for the first time this year...😮. After the sonar battery failed to charge last night I went old school and used some tricks that I...
Years ago we used to troll 'Fisher K-Flys'. They come in several colors similar to a wooly bugger pattern and have a small treble trailer hook. A red k-fly and ford fender rig was a consistent...
I may be able to meet up with y'all. We'll be in town most of he summer.
Good catch! While most of the Yale stock is smaller they have some good size fish lurking. It all depends on food supply and school numbers. Yale has natural spawn schools vs the hatchery boost that...
Welcome aboard!
Nice work!
I had a white-capping, smoke filled lake to myself this morning, but the bite was on. Running a single line I went 7 of 9 in two hours. The wind was strong enough to push me downstream at 1-2 mph on...
Had a new experience at the lake today. Seagulls dive bombed a nice koke as I was reeling it in. I didn't mind losing the fish, but the crafty birds snapped the line and made off with a new Vance's...
101hearyeYou won't believe it. I'm literally shaking the cob webs out of the boat tomorrow after having moved into a new house last year and having a fun, but no break from the children summer...
Sorry guys. My boat hasn't left the garage yet this season.
July 18 may work for me. I'll verify with my better half as the time gets closer but at this point I think we'll be in town.

Thanks sawtooth.
I've been using the simple Lee Loader for some standard 30-06 reloading, but would like to move into using a full reloading set-up. I'm looking at the Lee Classic Loader compared to the more...
Loon Lake or Deer Dake. PM me if you want some tips. -Mack
Good work everyone. I'm hoping to get out starting in May.
I'll take a look at the calendar. Late June to early July is my preference.
Sorry for the late response. I need to work a little less and fish a little more 😄
Bummer. If there are only a few of us I say let's try to plan early next year so we can have a turn-out like in the past. Now that year one of my new job is done I can add this back on my Spring...
I'm planning on being there too.
Anyone else??
We were down by the dam. With the water levels being adjusted the fish were pretty scattered on the sonar.
Looking forward to getting out again soon though.
Got up to Merwin this morning. It was s-l-o-w fishing but a nice boat ride.
