Got out a little late, at 930am. Fished for 3 hours from Spring Shores and down the canyon, tried close to shore and the middle. Tried 20,25 30 and 35 feet. Not one bite. Left the new/used fish...
Yep, fished Tues for 3.5 hours in the morning, got 8 in the boat. Was a 19.25 inch hog. Last 1.5 hour no bites. Not into changing lures and dodgers often. I just don't these fish collectively...

Yep, never gave the set back much thought ( I assume the line out before attaching to clip ) always used about 15 feet or so. Now I will setback further and experiment. Thanks
Yeah I was one those who only got two fish. I was on the water at 8 am fished 20,25,30, 25 feet etc very few bites. Guess I should have tried 10 feet. LOL But we did hook one fish at 40 feet on down...
Nope. but did you look at the number they have been stocking the last 3 years? One would think it would be good, lots of dinner for the lake trout.
Fished at cascade Friday, 10 fish, 8 trout and 2 small cohos. Heard from resident that trout gets better around middle to end of August.

mrgene, Got on water about 630 Am. Just got back from cascade. Got 10 fish in boat. 2 small cohos. Rest were rainbows, no giants though. Local at cascade says trout fishing gets better middle/end...
