Nice! Breaking in the motors is a pain, or at least it was for me - all I wanted to do was fish!! My usual fishing buddy has a TJ and I sure enjoy fishing that boat! If you get the chance, can you explain where/how/pics on the docking lights? I had them on my old boat and really miss them - not sure where/how I'd mount them on my current boat.
I run a 24ft willie raptor jet. T9.9 yamaha with garmin tr-1. 2 cannon mag 5 electric downriggers. Garmin sonar with sidescan and chirp setting from a gcv10 black box. Motoguide 36v wireless bow mount up front with custom removable quick release base. Lots of rod holders and a couple different canvas tops. She's not new but it's mine and it has plenty of scratches and sees lots of fish!
My new boat finally came in last week! This is my new 2016 Lund 1775 Crossover XS powered by a Mercury 150 4s and a Mercury 9.9 pro kicker (remote) as well as a Minnkota Terrova 80lb with Ipilot Link. Super excited to get her out to the gorge this weekend to do the break in.

That's a nice looking ride Wyo307.
Replace my 12' (see previous page) with its Big Brother:

Added 2.3 Honda for lake trolling
Lowrance HDS 7 Touch
NMEA 2000 to engine, Point 1 and HDS
Some awesome looking rigs on here fellas! Here's mine "Pint Size" (i'm an avid home brewer) She's a 2004 Trophy w/ 4.3 merc, 2014 yamaha 9.9 w/ wireless remote troll. I don't set any speed records, but when the weather gets nasty on the gorge this rig really shines! I've owned this boat 4 years and I think I almost have it setup the way I want it haha! Also had to throw a picture of my fishing buddy Wally in!

Very Nice. I have a 97 Trophy 20' with the 150 off shore mercury and 9.8 kicker. I bought it new and have a lot of hours on it, both ocean and fresh water. I love my boat along with my fishing partner. Attachment 8553
Mike,
Mine runs good at both sea level and at the altitudes we have here in eastern Washington and northern Idaho. It came with a 19 pitch, 3 blade prop and I am able to pull water skiers behind it. However, I felt it was a little slow out of the hole and so I went with a 4 blade prop with the equivalent of one size smaller than the 19 pitch 3 blade. With the 19 pitch, 3 blade prop, it would do just under 45 mph on fresh water with two people onboard. With the new prop, it tops out at 38 MPH, but is much faster out of the whole.
Going to Cascade Chase Some Rainbows This Weekend
In My Virgin Boat
I'd like to share what I’ve done to my boat. I purchased the Lund WC16 12 years ago and have been tinkering with it every since. The main driver through all modifications has been clean and efficient usage. That meant building storage compartments, cleaning up wiring, and clearing the decks. Here are some of my mods:
Me and the boat at Jameson Lake. It’s a Lund WC16 powered by a 15hp Suzuki 2 stroke.

The first addition was to build a front deck. I did this for storage underneath and a flat deck to setting a cooler out of the way or laying in the sun. The hatch is fairly level with the deck surface and the whole thing is strong enough to walk on.
Also in this storage area, I mounted the battery and onboard charger. The only thing above deck is the 3 prong plug to charge the battery. The battery and charger are not in the pic but mounted in front of the bench seat.

This is the underside of the deck. In order to make it strong but light, I used angled aluminum. There’s almost no flex in the deck and the storage space underneath is huge. The aluminum also helps support the hatch.

During a crabbing outing, I got really annoyed with the fuel tank sitting on the floor of the boat. It was taking up valuable floor space for 4 crab pots, a bucket, and our feet. So here was my solution. I removed just enough foam to allow the fuel tank to sit inside the middle bench seat. I used a piano hinge on the seat. This has really cleaned up the floor of the boat.

I used the port side rear seat for electronic items. To run the wires from the front of the boat, I used ¾” PVC pipe for conduit. The pipe fits under the seat for a no-show wire system. On top of the seat I mounted a Humminbird depth sounder and a RAM mount for my Garmin GPS. On the side of the seat I installed a 4 switch panel that runs the depth sounder and the bilge pump you can see mounted on the left. I also added a plug for my trolling motor so I didn't have to use alligator clips on a battery.

The boat has a short, 15" transom but came with a 20" longshaft outboard. It worked okay but the Suzuki's cavitation plate was about 6" from the bottom of the boat. This caused lots of drag and poor performance from the engine. Rather than getting a short shaft engine, I had a 6" riser block built from aluminum and installed it. The cavitation plate is dead even with the bottom of the boat and it runs and rides flawlessly.

Future modifications will likely be:
1. Adding carpeted floors in the rear and mid floor of the boat.
2. Upgrade the 15hp 2 stroke to a 20hp 4 stroke.
And all these mods, put a smile on my face!
