  1. Thanks for the feed back. I looked for Bob Tolman's video on google but couldn't find a link. Your right, color does matter, I change my rig as the morning wears on and the light enters the water at a different angle. I like chrome and gold in the early morning as the sun is coming up then rainbow colors mid morning, and this year I have been using black from mid morning thru afternoon and it is really hammering the big ones...I know right, black??? Who knew?? I love broken clouds for fishing... every time the sun breaks out, its like a fresh morning bite.

KilKenny There is a Video out by Bob Tolman full time Pro Guide explains exactly what you just stated about the importance of washing your gear. he even goes further explaining to remove your line so many feet. and goes on to explain Why? your right on the money. Its hard for fisherman to make change the ones that do exceed, the others fall behind. The reasoning is we all catch fish the reason, why makes us better at what we do. I state this earlier I'm a firm believer in color matter for the right water condition, cloud cover etc.
