Hey Gadgetman, I just joined this Kokanee forum. Saw you joined recently too. How have you been? I have been out at New Melones and doing pretty well. Where are you fishing lately? I htought I would go out again this next weekend and give New Melones another whirl. Have you ever fished for trout at night at New Melones? I did the wekend before Memorial Day and dropped in my homemade Green LED light tube. I caught some really big trout. The light tube has 300 high output green LED's and the water around it fills up with fish in about a 30 foot circle. I then was jigging some lures like power bait tipped kastmasters. It was quite a time. I returned all the fish to let them get bigger. They ranged from 3 to a little over 8 pounds! I am going to try and do a video next time and post it. It is pretty fun especailly with light tackle. I am still on the Fish Sniffer site as well as the Kokanee fishing forum. Have a great day. Tight lines!
