I've been fishing Strawberry a lot lately and the last few trips I've noticed every now and then some kokanee will have a dark red spot on one side of their fillets. It's as if the flesh is rotting and is very soft. I have been cutting it away but I'm wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same?

I've seen the same thing with a few out of the gorge. I'm sure they're from the same gene pool. But I wondered about this myself.
