I guess the kid is trying to come back out in me. I was reviewing some of my recent Cabelas catalogs and saw this Benjamin pellet gun on sale and cashed in some of my Cabelas points to get it. When I was a kid, Benjamin was always the gold standard of air rifles.

For the last year or 2 the pigeon population has been growing in my neighborhood so I figured that it would only be a matter of time before they tried to roost at my house. It has also been a long time since I've just set out some cans and plinked in the back yard.

Make sure you bring it with you. We have a small population of flying rats here too. 101thumbsdown101 They are roosting on the roofs across the street from your house here in Utah. And its more of a rural area here.

California hasn't banned "assault pellet weapons" yet?
