I have a 22' thunderjet with a Hamilton jet and one of the problems when you add a kicker and extra batts is they take longer to get on plane and wants to porpoise around 45 mph. there are a few cures, you can bend the rear tabs on the boat ( didn't like that idea ) add trim tabs. ( Hamilton doesn't recommend them because if you do a hard reverse you can bend them from the jet thrust and worse case tear them off) and I didn't want to have worry about remembering to lift them every time I used reverse. Hamilton's suggestion was interceptors but for what they are the mfgs. were very proud of them. so I decided to make my own and while at it I would incorporate transducer mounts to them. here's pics. of them just welded I counter sunk the bolts so there is no turbulence for the transducers ( and if I didn't get the angle right or they didn't work I could just unbolt them )

now it gets on plane quicker and no more porposing and still gets up to 58 mph with no problem. dfly
