There are three methods that I have used Catching Macks. First after the lake turns over you can troll for them like you would trout. I like the orange and white jointed Rapala. Second, Troll and catch yoursef some fresh bait trout, Kokes and use them for bait. Use the hole fish. This will be during the time your up there in July. Use a 6oz. sinker and send it down to the bottom and just let lay there. Go over to shore tie your boat up and wait. Third way is to lower your down rigger ball to the bottom and drag it as slow as possible with a fish as bait. Mud stirs up and some times that makes them strike. Good luck ken Me I bought my bait from a hatchery in haigerman.
