Thats a nice sturgeon. What kind of tackle did you use? Bait? I bet there is was a battle trying to get that big boy in. Any details you want to share?

Nice! Which general area on the snake? Any steelies? Looks like a lot of fun!

Sir you asked for some pictures so I posted this one. I had been tagging Sturgeon for the Idaho Fish & Game. I tagged up around 400 fish. Some of these fish were recatchs. My boat has landed over 900 Sturgeon. This spot pictured was taken up river from Airforce ramp below Cove Arm. This spot we have landed over 200 Sturgeon. I like cut bait. You take a 5in. crappie and cut it up you can get 7 baits. Think about that one for a while.

I'm leaving Saturday the 7th. thats tomorrow steelhead fishing. I go to Orofino and fish the clearwater river. Last year I only made it up there twice and brought home fish every time. Average weight was around 16pds. each. I use 16oz. jigs or 10mm. Trout beads. I have a 23.5lb. Steelie on my wall. Hes 42inches long. Will take some pictures just for you BDUCK because you ask for some.

Oh, bye the way there catching a few Kokes in Lucky and Arrowrock. I haven't tried yet may after I get back from Steelhead fishing. Crappie should101chromefish101 start in a couple weeks. Later. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk189/kljo2109/sturgeon017.jpg

Nice job Ken. Sent you a PM a little while ago. We need to go out again. I'll be retiring from the Air Force in about three months so should have a little extra time for fishing.
