It's legal to snag there? Man I would keep that quiet cause if these boys out here find out your secret spot it is legal to snagg in, there will be couple hundred thousand snaggers by morning.laugh hyst

...seemed like a little more fun than snaggin. Now that people are snaggin I'm still fishing them.
What's all this decompositon talk?
The last one I ate was great, maybe even better than trout, tetxure wise.
A firm fleshed fish with no pin bones. nananana

--if the river is open.. ours aren't... they will bite.. you just won't get as many as those snagging.
--the bite seems to turn on and off... can cast through and bounce off fish with no reaction then they turn on for 20 minutes or so and several but not all the fish in the run will attack the lure.
--I believe this is why some believe the fish will not bite as you can cast away for an hour without a bite with fish all around... then they turn on for no apparent reason. Maybe old memory of feeding, barometric pressure or some other response that causes this phenomina.

I built my smoker from an old steel lined refrigerator.
Single stove top element in the bottom and a thermostat from an oven for temp control. Works awesome
