Good day for us a bad day for the Kokes. We netted 50 kokes, lost 10 plus. Area fishing between Curlew Ramp and narrows going down stream towards Dam. Depth between 18 and 30. Leaded line 4 colors. Males are developing there Gonads and females there eggs. Week or two the fishing for Kokes will be over. There will be carry overs for next year spawners.101chromefish101

Fished the 7th and last Saturday also, caught our 50 each time. Yesterday took till 5:00 pm. Was more spotty this week. We had good bites inthe narrows, mouth of lime creek and the point uphill from curlew creek. Flashers with either pinks, blue/ white or green two tone hoochies at 35 to 50 feet stacked. Headed to the coast next to catch their bigger cousins

I wouldn't waste my time after Kokes. I fished yesterday at Anderson and brought home 14 fish. Several were next years sponners around 7inches long. This trip is my last for Kokes. I will be after Crappie, Steelhead, Trout, Salmon in Washington, Halibut off Van Coover Island and Cod. Maybe Mexico for Dorrado and Etc.101chromefish101

Where are you going in Washington, Ken? We just got back dragging the boat over to Sekiu. Caught 99 pounds of king, and the pinks are so thick that you typically only have to wait 1-2 minutes once you are in the water. We brought back 34 nice-sized pinks. The coho are just moving into the Straits. Good luck to you. Mike

Good luck on the salmon in the Snake and Clearwater. Most fish are not fin clipped, so you will catch some, but not many keepers. Steelheading should be prime though.
