We hit it hard on Friday. What a nice day it was, made me almost quit my day job.... Oh yeah, that is my day job tooexcited
Nice day of fishing, just not an exceptional day of catching. Boated five not counting trout. Released all of them, not enough for a good meal, but still fun to catch. Trolling shallow, say between 8 and 15' with a good spread. Got bit the most in the twelve foot range.
Spotted quite a few chinook deeper, but had no desire to catch one. Lousy eating in comparison to kokanee. Some looked to be in the 2'+ range. Spotted most of the kokanee on the north shore line in the 30' range with the most being in the 12-18' depth range. We need a few more days like we have been having and we will be in kokanee heaven.

They still look pretty thin. Kind of worried about that.

Ya, but 14" in April is a very good sign, the fat will come on in no time.
